This was sent to me by a darling new friend I have met here through my blog. Her name is Joy and her name describes her perfectly. Joy creates art quilts and was a finalist in McCall's Quilting Quilt Design Star 2012 Amateur Category! Many of you voted for her entry in the final round. Well, she has a new passion and that is making these amazing baskets (and this basket is big enough for a cat to curl up in and take a nap).

Oh, Joy, how can I ever, ever thank you!! I think this basket is in the top 10 gifts I have rececived over my entire life!! I'll think of you every day as I look at it!! :-)) Woo! Hoo!! I am one blessed kid!!

I noticed the Kaffe fabrics right away and thought, "Someone knows Kris well!" What a gorgeous basket, and wonderfully generous gift!
Lucky you. They do say though that what goes around comes around and I know someone else who is generous. Think you know her very well.
Very pretty - love the extra work on the side - just a wonderful gift.
That is a beautiful basket and I love how she added flowers to the outside, really creative and beautifully made, very nice surprise.
