I Have Lots and Lots of 2-1/2 Inch Squares . . .

so I thought it would be fun to make some American Girl Doll quilts with them.  And now, if I let it (and of course if I had all the time in the world) these little quilts could become an obsession.

Now every little quilt needs a bed to go on, right?  So I talked myself into getting this fabulous metal bed from a young man on Etsy.  I am so sad to say that when I went this morning to look at his wonderful beds again, he is no longer in business!!  So, I have to say, I am thrilled that I was able to get one before he went out of business!!  Hopefully he will be back one day because this little bed, albeit quite expensive, is beautifully made and is a great display for all the doll quilts I would like to make someday with the 1,000s of little 2-1/2 inch squares I have!!

The cute little bear is Malcolm and he came from the local yarn shop - handmade from a local artist!!

That bed was a fabulous find, and perfect for your little quilt and pillow! The photo setting is perfect too. My granddaughter would love it!

Oh, I love this, Kris! Good work--looks great!
Sorry to hear his shop is no longer. I would love a doll bed or buggy, but have come to terms with the fact that I don't have a spot left to put one.
