Look What Came in the Mail . . . .

. . . just in time for an even more exciting package that arrived in today's mail ~

I have been using the excuse that I did not do any of the wonderful embroidery projects out there because I have to stand at the window to trace the pattern while the blood in both of my arms drains out.  So, I decided to bite the bullet and get a light box!!

And the light box came just in time for a darling package from our sweet friend, Shell over at The Raspberry Rabbits.  I love her designs and I purchased this little house pattern!!  It is the cutest thing ever!!

So, now I have NO excuse to work on the absolutely incredable embroidery projects I have been accumulating.  Now, I can't start this until I complete my second UFO for January in the

Those are the rules and for now I am sticking to them!!  ;-)

I thought I was sticking to those rules too but it might not happen LOL. Cute little project.

So glad you have the pattern and a proper light box to trace. Will be much more fun now for sure!

I love my light box, even if it is smaller and fat, it is perfect for tracing my stitcheries and punch needle.

The joy of a handy hubby. Mine built me a lightbox out of a wooden box containing fruit. Double bonus as the fruit was yummy and I got a lightbox. Enjoy yours... it's so much kinder on the arms!

For years I had used the "window" method. Then one day it downed on me that I had a glass topped end table. I put a light under it and could work there easily. Don't know why it took me so long to figure that one out. What does that say about me? : )
Anyway, the glass topped table is long gone (thank goodness) and I now have a light box. Handy little contraption!
