Even a very simple pattern such as this Stip*ity Do Dah quilt!!
If my quilter (actually her hubby) though the last quilt I sent up to be quilted was too much, this one would probably hurt his eyes!!! This picture doesn't do justice to the brilliant colors because this quilt is bright, bright, bright!!! :-)
Also, I made this particular Strip*ity Do Dah quilt a little different because I used 2 1/4" strips instead of 2 1/2" strips and the quilt ended up being 57" wide by 55" long, so I cut off 2" along the side and made a square quilt (55" x 55"). The reason I used 2 1/4" instead of 2 1/2" is because earlier this summer when I was on a quilting trip with Sue (my quilter) up in her stomping grounds, I bought 1/8th yard cuts of about 15 different Kaffe fabrics. So, I could only get 2 - 2 1/4" inch strips from each cut. Won't do that again because I like the shape and size of the 2 1/2" strips (50" x 65") better than the square one.
Its been fun working on this quilt this weekend because with school starting for me this past week, I have not had as much time I usually do to quilt!! Thanks, Kaffe!! I love your style!!!

What a brilliant burst of colour! I almost need sunglasses but I don't want anything to take the edge off of Kaffe's prints.
Love this. I am in the process of making his snowball quilt. I met with him and took a class from him at the Paducah AQS in April this year. He is amazing and his fabrics are to DYE for! Steph
I think your quilt is beautiful. I usually don't like Kaffe Fassett quilts, even although I like bright and bold, but your quilt is stunning.
