My New Home . . .
Well, we made it safely to Bandon and here is our new home ~
The 2-foot tall grass is beautiful blowing in the cool ocean breezes but little by little it will be whacked down. The house is on a quarter of an acre so that might take me awhile!! :-))
I have decided that I am going to keep this blog as my quilting and Saturday's Smile blog and I have created a new blog called Bandon-by-the-Sea Renovation. If you are interested in seeing my progress on the house reno, I am going to post the above picture and by clicking on the picture it will take you to the new blog. I hope you will join me in my fun new Oregon coast adventure!!

We're Getting Close . . .
It's been going on for weeks but tomorrow is U-Haul day and so the past couple of days we have been in high gear!!
Now I just have to get some of this stuff out of the house and into the truck so I can 1. think and 2. see what is left to pack!!
These are my fabric bricks ~
A full living room!!
Yikes!!
It's everywhere, it's everywhere!!
Done for the day and with a good night's sleep we will be up again tomorrow morning to pack the truck and say goodbyes!! Janet, if you are in town, drop by for a hug, will ya?

East Window Works Too!
I have always been told that you need to put African Violets in a northern window so that they will bloom. Well, I have no northern window where I can put any plants, so I put this gorgeous violet that a friend gave me a slip of several months ago in my office window that faces east.
Plus, there is no drainage in this pot!! Love it!!
