Beautiful fabric Kris. Every time I stitch at my machine I use the breast cancer pincushion you made for me. 3 1/2 years later I count myself a survivor.

I wear pink ribbons though October in remembrance of the battle all three of the waged battles they fought against it, as well as in behalf of the number of friends I've had that have battled with it. :)

I lost a SIL to breast cancer many years ago. Treatment is much better now but we still need a cure. You are very generous with your giveaway, the fabric is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI always thought it had to "run in families," now my aunt has had breast cancer. We all need to self-check, get regular mamograms, know if we have dense breast tissue and always stay active and as fit as we can.

ReplyDeleteIt is so important to get a mammogram each and every year. I have mine scheduled for November.

Great contest to bring awareness to breast cancer. Women and men should self check regularly and get a mammogram.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win this fabric! Have a wonderful sister-in-law who lost her mother to Breast Cancer at age 9. She has raised 2 beautiful daughters and has been the best Mom to her own daughters. Would use this to make pillows or pillow cases for her and daughters to remember Grandma Vera, thanks for the chance to register!!
