Breast Cancer Awareness Day GIVEAWAY!!

In honor of all the work that is being done to eradicate breast cancer, I am giving away a yard of fabric to two individuals!!


The yard includes a FQ of the following:

Kaffe Fassett August Rose in the Magenta color way
Moda Bella Solid in Dark Pink
Moda Essentail Dots in Light Pink
Moda Bump to Baby Dots in Pink

I will pick two winners Wednesday night using our handy dandy True Random Number Generator!!

    My Aunt died from breast cancer. It worries me what my future could be. Please..everyone do your self exams.

    I have several friends that are breast cancer survivors, and my best friend's mother died from it. It touches everyone! Beautiful fabrics to bring the breast cancer fight to light.

    My friend is undergoing treatment and needs a mastectomy. She may decide to have both breasts removed. Such a horrible disease.

    Too many women don't get regular mammograms-and now they are saying it is ok. It is not-get screened!

    I lost my sister, Lois, to breast cancer. She was only 50 years old. My grandmother died of the same disease. I have always loved the color pink, and sew pink quilts in memory of her. I pray we don't lose any more of our family to this dreaded disease. Thank you.

    Beautiful fabric Kris. Every time I stitch at my machine I use the breast cancer pincushion you made for me. 3 1/2 years later I count myself a survivor.

    My grandmother like so many women had breast cancer. Funny, because your shop name reminds me of her, she loved lavender.

    Breast cancer is very scary. Currently two co-workers and a very dear friend of mine are fighting this disease. Hopefully a cure will be found soon.

    My mom's mom lost her life to breast cancer (or complications thereof). Two of my mom's sisters had it also, both resulting in mastectomies. I wear pink ribbons though October in remembrance of the battle all three of the waged battles they fought against it, as well as in behalf of the number of friends I've had that have battled with it. :)

    Breast cancer has touched practically all of our lives. Increasing awareness through quilting is a wonderful avenue. Let's hope there is a cure soon!

    I lost a SIL to breast cancer many years ago. Treatment is much better now but we still need a cure. You are very generous with your giveaway, the fabric is beautiful.

    I always thought it had to "run in families," now my aunt has had breast cancer. We all need to self-check, get regular mamograms, know if we have dense breast tissue and always stay active and as fit as we can.

    It is so important to get a mammogram each and every year. I have mine scheduled for November.

    Would love to win this fabric! Have a wonderful sister-in-law who lost her mother to Breast Cancer at age 9. She has raised 2 beautiful daughters and has been the best Mom to her own daughters. Would use this to make pillows or pillow cases for her and daughters to remember Grandma Vera, thanks for the chance to register!!
