Hi, Kris. I love this question and image. It's great for anyone but especially great for family historians. May I please copy and use the image on my blog (nancysfamilyhistoryblog.blogspot.com). Or is there someone else I should ask for permission?
I would love to sit and visit with several of my great-grandmothers. If they were the talkative sort, they would certainly have stories to tell.
My grandmother. I would ask her for those recipes that she said she would make and not to worry about getting the recipe; I would ask her about her quilting (which she did LONG before I ever got into quilting; and I would ask her about her life on the farm. What a great question and what a pretty place to have those conversations with our loved ones.
My grandmother on my father's side. I never met her--she died before my parents married, but my father and his only sister repeatedly told me I remind them of her. She had a hard life and died at the age I am now. I would like to "know" her. Someday I will!
Wow! Isn't that a loaded question.... I would choose someone who has passed... Probably my dad because he died when I was in my 20's. But... It would be very interesting to meet my grandparents too... I only met one!
Just one??! Gracious, you do ask tough questions, don't you? The Apostle Paul. I think we'll probably be too busy in heaven worshiping Jesus to spend too much time chit-chatting with other folks. LOL! :)
Don’t even have to think about it. I would chooses my Mother. I never realized how much I would miss her. I would have to move that bench back from the edge of the cliff a little before I could sit on it.
