An Angel Has Gone to Heaven

My sweet Dad fell a couple of times about three weeks ago and the second fall changed our lives forever.  He passed away the morning of May 1, 2012.  He died sweetly and quietly and with all the dignity he had lived his life.  I am going to miss him more than I think I realize at this time.  I will be popping in every so often over the next few weeks.  Please keep me in your prayers!!

  11. Oh Kris, I am so sorry about your Father. I guess God needed another angel in heaven. My Mother went to heaven in May 2010. I will pray for your peace and understanding.

  15. Kris, your father's countenance tells the story of his character. he was a gentle soul who loved much from what I can tell. You will never stop missing him but time will allow you to remember him with a smile rather than tears. For now, allow the tears to fall and grieve with Hope as the Bible tells us that know His Grace and Mercy! I will share your prayer request on my Prayer Request Sunday blog next Sunday if you don't mind!
    Blessings

  22. I know he was the best Pop ever. I fell in love with him from the Valentines post last year. So blessed you were to have each other. You know I love you and I'm here if you need me. It's always harder after the shock of it all and the quiet sets in. Sending hugs.

  23. Kris my heart goes out to you at this sad time. I know how you are feeling. Be assured that my Christopher will have taken your dad under his wing, will be showing him the ropes of Heaven and if I know my son he'll probably be trying to teach him some swing dancing moves, asking lots of get to know you questions , discussing books or trying to get a chess game. Whatever know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. You had your dad a long time but that doesn't make the parting any easier but treasure all those happy memories you have of him.
