The Enchanting Rose 10th Tea Cup and Mug Exchange Reveal!!

This was the most fun "swap" I have ever participated in!!  Stephanie over at The Enchanting Rose was our hostess and I think enchanting is the perfect word to describe Stephanie!!

The Tea Cup is the main ingredient in our package of goodies and then we are given a list of fun ideas to supplement the Tea Cup we have chosen.  My list was pretty sparse as this is my first (but hopefully not my last) exchange but my package was glorious!!

I received a package from the darling Pamela over at The Lady of the House Speaking and she is a true Anglophile!!  Go check out her blog, it is fascinating!!

And so here is what Pamela sent to me:

Opps, as you can see if you look closely, the Walker's Shortbread and one of the cookies were gone before I got the picture taken!!  That's because Walker's Shortbread is one of my most favorite things in the whole wide world!!

Thank you Pamela, I LOVE all my fun goodies and the tea cup is exactly like the set of dishes that my Grandmother (Nana) had when we were growing up.  I remember spending Saturday nights with my Grandparents and getting to drink tea out of one of these cups with a scoop of ice cream on the side.  I would always take some of the ice cream and put it in my tea.  I don't think that is English style but yum, the memories just flooded back when I unwrapped the cup!!

And Pamela told me that the little pink doily was handmade by a 90-year-old French woman!!  How cool is that!!

I am looking forward to the next Exchange!!  Thank you Stephanie for hosting this very excitting exchange!!

P.S. Stephanie was who I sent a little package to - go check out what everyone plus Stephanie got HERE - I had soooo much fun putting her package together.  Ya know, I was the teacher's pet on this Exchange!!  Hee!  Hee!!

Oh Kris, I can help but giggle right now. The Teacher's Pet....hehehe

I have been hosting this exchange for several years now and I must confess that I always feel "sillY' when I give my name to someone to send to me since I'm the hostess {does that make sense?} Anyway, I have been richly blessed over the years by the many women that have sent to me and once again I was richly blessed by YOU, dear Kris. Your package was extra special and when I think of the love, time, and effort you poured into my package of goodies well, I get all warm and fuzzy inside and out. You made the 10th exchange extra memorable and sweet. And then the fact that you opened yourself up to a frienship with me, just a strange girl in Colorado, well....I was greatly touched. You are incredibly unique and beautiful, my friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything!

Now enough about me....just look at that beautiful package from Pamela! What a beautiful little tea cup and oh, the doily is stunning! How fascinating that it was made by a 90-year-old French woman, a treasure for sure. And yes, I saw a cookie was missing {{smiles}} I have done that before too.

Love and hugs to you, dear Kris. Thanks for joining the fun!

I know what a great gifter you are -- so I know Stephanie enjoyed yours a lot! Your box was filled with lots of lovely things!! Have you perused the Tea Time Magazine, yet? That is my all-time favorite publication -- I've got every single issue that's been published since its premier!! :)

What wonderful treasures both coming and going! So much thoughtfulness goes into each package. I loved the story about the ice cream in your tea when at grandparents' house. what a fun and special memory to share with us, thank you!

This was my 3rd time in the exchange. (I have only exchanged teacups so far.) I always forget to photograph what I send out. Cynthia send a package of treasures to me, and is now a new friend. I am so blessed.

I will always try to join in on the exchange fun as long as I am able, and as long as Stephanie is willing to sweetly organize it. ♥

What an impressive swap! I had no idea it was on such a grand scale! I tried to find the package you sent Stephanie in the link--scrolled through it twice, but missed it somehow.
The whole thing looks like a lot of fun!
Didn't know Walker Shortbread was a favorite of yours. Too bad I didn't make you some shortbread before I went gluten free. I can still make it, but it isn't quite the same.

A lovely array of goodies along with your teacup. A big smile at eating a shortbread before the photo, I managed to just take my photos before opening my shortbread too.

"The teachers pet" I love it!! Being a pet of my dear Stephanie's is quite special in deed. :-) your gift to her was just lovely, Kris.
What a delight it must have been for you to receive a tea cup that brought back memories of your childhood and a doily hand crafted by a 90 year old, what glory!
It was so nice visiting with you~~

Your reveal cracked me up. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your first exchange! I'm loving the pretty teacup, strainer and stickers that you received. I also admired the wonderful package that you sent Stephanie on her blog.

I'm intrigued by the idea of putting ice cream into tea (one scoop or one small teaspoon?) and must try this myself!
