The Top for My Guild Row-A-Long Quilt . . .

is complete!!

A Kaffe Kollaborative

In the style of Kaffe Fassett, I would typically never put borders between the colorful rows of blocks but because this was a collaborative effort by seven different quilters, I wanted to separate each work so each stood alone and could be appreciated as an individual piece of art.  I chose a speckled batik so the weight of the border would not overwhelm the finer touch of the Kaffe.

I am not sure how I am going to quilt it but I have something in mind and I hope it works out as planned!!

Tomorrow night is the grand finale at guild and we are all supposed to have our Row-A-Long quilts complete.  I am lucky I got the top completed!!  I'll take pictures and share!!

Your life is busy and getting at least a flimsy finish for show and tell is a plus. I think the setting is a wonderful way to show case each person's row of talent.

I think the rows really stand out with the black sashing.
Oh, wish I could see the finishes. They are all such incredible little quilts!

I love the way your row by row turned out. The sashing makes each row special.
Looking forward to seeing some of the other quilts.
