Oh No!! A New Addiction!!

On my Pinterest account I started seeing all these pins for these incredible blocks from the Lucy Boston  Patchwork of the Crosses quilt ~

They were pins from all different quilters fussy cutting these gorgeous blocks.  I found that the ones I was really drawn to were from Jan who blogs over at Sow and Sew Farms.  Not only did I love her Lucy Boston blocks but her blog was so much fun that I put it on my sidebar and started following her.

Well, I have been looking long enough and finally broke down and checked on Etsy to see if anyone was selling the papers and the template.  I found them at Featherweight Quilt Co. ~

And low and behold, I put two and two together and realized that I had purchased the papers and template from Jan, the same gal whose work and blog I just loved!!

So, now I am off to see if I can fussy cut some of these great blocks!!  Are any of you working on the Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses blocks?  If so, tell me where you have posted them and I will add them to my Pinterest!!

My hand-sewing friends and I ordered templates and the viewer/acrylic honeycomb from paperpieces.com. None of my friends are posting pictures, but I'll post my v-e-r-y s-l-o-w progress on my blog. The red and blue block you shared is spectacular!!! Fussy cutting is such fun, especially when results are a surprise when the block is finished. This is going to be one very fun addiction.
