Slow Stitchin' Sunday!!

This week I started a new knitting project.  I am trying to stretch myself, so I am making a lace neck scarf using hand-dyed merino wool with a size 3 needle.  I learned quickly on this project that rip it - rip it - rip it is not only a quilting term!!

I did finish the little baby bonnet that I started last Sunday and it turned out sooooooooo cute.  The booties are almost done too.  I have linked up with Kathy over at Kathy's Quilts.  Go check out what others have been working on today!!

I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful day of rest!!

Oh, and ~

Such a cute hat!! Love the scarf you are starting - hang in there - I think I've had to rip and start over every single scarf/shawl I've ever started but in the end I succeeded and you will too.

Oh, the bonnet turned out so cute!
Wow! That is very pretty yarn you are turning into a scarf. Is that for you? I figured the hat isn't. : )

Beautiful hat, Kris! The scarf is coming along beautifully as well. I love knitting with the small needles - have only done socks - SO FAR... You're inspiring me! :-)

Cute little bonnet!

Hmm...I have to rip too much with sewing . I better leave any thought of knitting out of my head! :)

I hate ripping, but it does happen whether your quilting, sewing, knitting or crocheting I have found. Cute little hat and your yarn color is so beautiful for your project. Hopefully you will have no more ripping out to do.
