Quilt Top Finished!!

Well, my studio is neat enough for me to be able to finish the quilt top I started for my younger brother (ha! ha! he'll be 60 this year) that I started for him before I moved.
For many years now my brother has made his living throwing a couple of newspaper routes and he loves black and white.

So, I thought I would put my little twist on his quilt by adding some red.  If you ask the question, what is black and white and READ all over, what do you have??  A Newspaper!!  The back of the quilt is going to be red all over!!

And I have always loved when some of you display your quilts in beautiful places and I always wanted to display mine the same way!!  Now I can - this is my back yard!!

Hope he likes it - I'll post the finished quilt when it is all done!!  Feels good to have a project that is close to being finished!!

Love the 'pun' in the name and color choice - just a wonderful quilt that I am sure he will love.

Just love red, white and black quilts. Over here they are the colours of St Kilda football club so I made one for my nephew and his wife as a wedding present. She is a Saints supporter so loved it. Sure your brother will love the one you have made him. Love the pun too.
