Schnibbles Quilt Kit Giveaway!!!

I have been putting together quilt kits for my little eBay store and thought it would be a neat idea to give one away here as a celebration of Australia Day for all my friends down under!!!

This kit includes 2  - Collections for a Cause - Hope by Howard Marcus for Moda charm packs, chocolate brown Essentials Dots by Moda for the inner border and Gatsby by Heidi Pridemore for Timeless Treasures for the backing and binding.  Kit also includes a small spool of Auriful Thread.  You will need to supply the batting BUT there is a 20% off coupon for Summit Creek Quilts to do the quilting for you!!!

To win a chance at this great kit, just leave a comment about what you like about my blog or how I can improve it.  And for a second chance at winning just become a follower and let me know in your comment you have done so.  If you are already a follower, I love you and just remind me in your comment that you are already a follower!!!

Good luck to everyone and I will ask Shell over at The Raspberry Rabbits how I go about using that fancy random number generator that she uses in her giveaways to pick the winner!!  Shell's a pro at this giveaway stuff and maybe her bunny Harrington will push the button on the random number generator for me!!

A winner will be chosen on Janaury 31, 2011!!  Good luck everyone!!!

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY EVERYONE!!!

Hi Kris! I'm a Follower and also a Siggy swapper and I love your blog! There is always something of interest to see and read.

I have never done a Schnibbles Quilt... sounds fun!

Australia Day here in Queensland was hot and humid but that didn't stop me spending the day sewing :-)

Cheers!
Helen

I love the look of your blog. Very clean look, easy to follow and read. The only thing I would ever change is the green dot background color. I think that is just the instructional designer in me talking though, LOL.

Your giveaway is wonderful :)

I like your blog! I'm a follower also. The only thing I can think of is more quilting posts, but I understand! Sometimes life gets in the way of quilting and we just have nothing to post about. You have a lot of buttons and fun things though! Please enter me in your drawing, I'm a Schnibbles virgin too! I have a giveaway on my blog too if you'd like to stop by!

The one thing I can tell you to do to improve your blog is to remove the music. I really don't like music on blogs and from what I've heard, most people don't like it.

Hi Kris - I love the simplicity of your blog, neat, clean, easy to read. I would love for you to show more of what you are working on - even just bits of progress are always fun.

I am already a follower - I have never done a Schnibbles - every time I tried to order the book (1 and 2) they were out of stock, so I kind of gave up.

I have joined your jolly band of followers :) Looks like a fun group!

I would love to be considered for your giveaway. As far as your blog is concerned, the only thing I would like to see are tutorials. I love tutorials. Also, it would be great if there was a recap of sorts on your sidebar that shows the different topics of your posts. Thanks!

Helloooooooo there lovey!
A most fabulous giveaway! It's so fun to give presents isn't it!!
Ok, so all you do for the random generator is go to www.random.org
enter the number range and hit generate. Then right click on the box and save the picture. Print it out and there ya go. I print mine out and all that stuff as I like to have a paper trail of what happened when.
Finally, I am very happy to be a follower, but even more delighted to be friends!
Big bunny hugs,
shell

Beautiful fabric. I have thought about trying a Schnibbles pattern and this would be the perfect push. Thanks for the chance.

Whoops--I forgot to include my suggestion. I think your blog is just fine. Attractive. Good projects and tips to share. You also show process and not just finished work, something I like. I wish I could be more helpful, but I guess compliments is all I have today.

Kris, What a sweet blog! I'm like you...have not yet done a Yellow Brick Road. Should I say (tragically and under my breath) that I'm not particularly interested?? I guess I've got so many patterns I've not even started AND the ones that have been kicking around in my head that I just have learned when to say "no more!" Thank you for the giveaway...am looking how to be a follower. As well, I can appreciate the celebration of Australia Day, I married an Australian and lived there for two years!!
Thanks again, Heather

I found your blog today for the first time. You seem to have a lot of energy and great ideas. I have added your blog to my favorites now. My Sunday afternoons are usually dedicated to looking at quilter blogs and websites. Thank you for giving away a schnibbles treat! Happy Aussie Day!

What a very lovely giveaway! For some reason when I was in my sick fog I missed your post. But I like your blog. I think it is a very nice little place. I also commend you for caring for your Dad. As our family has been helping to care for my hubby's 89 year old Mom and 91 year old Dad. It is a big job, but what a blessing to have your parents.
